IceMoves Privacy Policy

IceMoves ("we", "our", or "the app") is a figure skating tracking app for personal skaters and coaches. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Data We Collect

IceMoves collects the following types of data, all provided directly by you:

Contact Information (Coach Mode)

• Student names
• Student email addresses
• Student and parent phone numbers

Photos and Videos

• Training videos you record or upload within the app

User-Generated Content

• Skating progress and assessment records
• Practice session logs (date, duration, ratings, notes)
• Workout plans and completion data
• Competition results and scores
• Session notes
• Goals and countdowns
• Student profile details (program, level)

How We Use Your Data

All data you enter in IceMoves is used solely to provide the app's functionality — tracking skating progress, managing students, logging practice, and related features.

We do not use your data for:

• Advertising or marketing
• Analytics or profiling
• Selling or sharing with third parties
• Tracking across other apps or websites

Data Storage and Sync

Your data is stored on your device and synced via Apple iCloud (CloudKit) to enable access across your devices. This means:

• Your data is stored in your personal iCloud account
• We, as the developer, do not have access to your personal iCloud data
• Data sync is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy
• You can manage your iCloud storage through your device's Settings

Subscriptions

IceMoves offers an optional Pro subscription handled entirely through Apple StoreKit. We do not collect or process any payment information. All purchase transactions are managed by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

IceMoves does not use any third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or external services. The app relies exclusively on Apple's native frameworks.

Data Retention

Your data remains on your device and in your iCloud account for as long as you use the app. You can delete your data at any time by:

• Deleting individual records within the app
• Deleting the app from your device
• Managing your iCloud storage through your device's Settings

Children's Privacy

IceMoves does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. In Coach Mode, coaches are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from parents or guardians before entering student information, including information about minors.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
